Cobh was beautiful. I also learned it was the last place the Titanic was seen before sinking.

The cornerstone of the castle was laid by the queen. Inside is a small time capsule of coins and the deed to the estate.

The walk around the castle has several cairns as well as the resting places of several of the royal pets.

The royal gardens supply much of the food when the royals stay during the summer months.
