• Made it to San Sebastián just in time for the sunset. Beautiful.

  • Quick video from Sagat Cor.

  • Sagat Cor sits atop the hill overlooking Barcelona and is so amazing and beautiful. It’s impossible to capture in images.

  • Took a cable car up the hill to Sants-Montjuic and it was totally worth it. Saw my first glimpse of the Mediterranean, saw a castle, and even saw the 1992 Olympic Stadium!

  • The Sagrada Familia was spectacular.

  • This was a trip as well. Not Gaudi but Gaudi inspired.

  • Gaudi’s Batlló House. Simply amazing. The images don’t do it justice. He must have had a strong influence on Disney.

  • The Man of La Mancha - Cervantes

  • Day trip to Toledo.

  • Lunch at Mercado de San Miguel. A giant food hall.

  • Scenes from the Spanish Royal Palace - Madrid

  • Spotted in Madrid. For you @combatdavey

  • Nobody told me there would be snails in Seville! They were actually pretty tasty.

  • Torre del Oro, the golden tower of Seville

  • Streets of Córdoba

  • Mezquita Catedral de Córdoba

  • Some pretty serious nightmare fuel - Cathedral of Seville

  • The Royal Alcázar of Seville

  • Plaza de España. Que Bonita!

  • 20 guys up at 6 a.m. today. Full gym. Good runs.

  • This weekend I finally made some headway on a project I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’ve created a map of all of the coffee shops from my two previous “30 days of coffee” quests. Still a work in progress, but check it out! https://jonathanhays.me/portland-coffee-shops/

  • Finished reading: The Word Is Murder by Anthony Horowitz 📚

Horowitz is a genius. The way he plays with the genre is so much fun.

  • A little quiet morning contemplation.

  • Not a great run today. Didn’t feel strong and my knee hurt but hey, at least I did it. 🏃
