Took a day off yesterday so decided to hit it hard tonight. Was able to get my 8 mile pace under 10 mins/mile. My headlamp ran out of power around mile 6 though so the last two were a little scary in the dark. 😳😳😳 🏃🌜🔥

At 96 degrees I wasn’t going to make it for a long run so I did a couple mile sprints. Best one was 7:40 which is a PR but still short of my interim 7:30 goal. I can’t believe I ran a 5:50 in high school. That’s not coming back! Getting old sucks. 🏃🔥🏃🔥
